Hong Kong Island Tour

Pass through Causeway Bay, the Suzie Wong district of Wanchai, and
Happy Valley where the horseracing tracks are located. Enjoy the scenic area of Deep Water Bay and Repulse Bay with its splendid beaches.
Then it is off to Stanley Market, which is great for bargain hunting. Afterwards, explore Aberdeen where fishermen and their families live on hundreds of junks and sampans. An optional sampan ride at an additional charge is available in Aberdeen. A visit to Victoria Peak is next. Six hundred (600) meters above sea level, Victoria Peak gives a panoramic view of the city with its famous landmarks and breathtaking skyscrapers.

Away from the maddening pace of the city, this tour offers a glimpse of the rural and traditional Hong Kong. Visit the Yuen Yuen Institute, a large monastery complex housing the three predominant local religions Buddhism, Taoism, and Confucianism. Afterwards, go up to Tai Mo Shan, Hong Kong’s highest mountain, for spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding areas.
Next stop is where you need binoculars. In the distance lies the border village of Sha Tau Kok and nearby a protected bird sanctuary where Chinese Pond Herons can be seen. Night Herons and even the rare swinnoe's Egrets are also known to nest here. A stop at a fish-farming zone at Sam Mun Tsai is next followed by lunch will be served at one of the famous restaurant in Sha Tin.

This is the easiest way to see a number of historical Hong Kong sites,
spread over a wide area of the New Territories. Enter the 18th century
Hakka clan walled village, the La Wai Walled Village, the century-old Man
Mo Temple and the Tang Chung Ling Ancestral Hall, a special stop at the Lam Tsuen Wishing Trees are also included, where you can write your wish on one of the railings.

Pick up from hotel and board on an hour ferry to Silver Mine Bay on Lantau, which is twice the size of Hong Kong Island. On arrival, disembark for a coach tour of the island including a visit to Cheungsha beach, Tai-O fishing village and see the world's tallest outdoor seated bronze Buddha on the top of the Lantau Peak. A vegetarian lunch is served in the Monastery, followed by Ngong Ping 360 cable car ride to Tung Chung. Transfer back to hotels.
