Dear Industry Professional,

It gives me great pleasure to inform you that the International Symposium on Spine and Paravertebral Sonography for Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine 2012 will be held at the Postgraduate Education Centre, at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Prince of Wales Hospital, from the 29th March to 1st April 2012. As you may be aware this is the fourth such event that we are organizing and it is my pleasure to inform you that all previous events have been hugely successful and well received by participants from around the world. For the issps2012 we have once again put together an interesting and thought provoking scientific program that will be covered by a group of experts and opinion leaders, from overseas and locally. We truly believe this one of a kind, very special symposium will be a great opportunity for everyone to network, exchange experience and scientific knowledge in this state of the art field of anaesthesia and pain medicine. The symposium will include lectures, expert scanning demonstration session, panel discussion, hands-on workshops, and exhibition of the latest equipment, drugs, and products. There will also be a live demonstration session during which ultrasound guided interventions relating to the spine and paravertebral region for anaesthesia and pain medicine will be relayed live to the symposium venue from the operating theatre. We are also for the first time introducing workshops on Doppler Sonography and 3D 4D ultrasound for regional anaesthesia. We are confident that participants will find the scientific program interesting. We anticipate about 300 - 350 participants from Hong Kong, China, neighboring Asian countries and around the world to attend the meeting.

In order to make this meeting successful I would like to solicit the support of your company in the form of an educational grant for which the details are provided. Your support will be highly appreciated and will definitely be a great opportunity for us to work together towards long term developments in this field of anaesthesia and pain medicine. Should you require further information or assistance, please do not hesitate to contact Ruby Ng, (rubyng@cuhk.edu.hk or Tel +852-2632-2057) who is the contact person for corporate liaison. She will be delighted to discuss the details of the sponsorship with you. I look forward to your generous support.

Best regards
